The renewed Parisian Café

• 16 juillet 2013

Hello

In the heart of the most beautiful city in the world and illuminating the unavoidable pedestrian place de la République freshly renewed, the Café monde et medias is reinventing the traditional Parisian Café

Two steps away from the historical Le Marais District, the canal Saint-Martin, the Opéra Bastille and the famous boulevard theatres, come and enjoy a healthy and gourmet French cuisine elaborated with sustainable products alongside with a warm and welcoming service (yes, Parisians do know how to smile!). Everything at very affordable prices, since the organic and fair-trade coffee will only cost you 1€ (which is unusually cheap), a 3€ breakfast is served at the bar and the dish of the day costs 10€. Hot dishes at lunch time, cold meals during the evening, snacks and deserts all day long, there is something for every taste and for every wish!

From East to West, the large terrace of the café is welcoming you at each moment of the day to enjoy a sunny Parisian weather or to chill-out with the freshness of the miroir d’eau. At night, have a drink in either the inside or the outside bars and have fun in a warm and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Place of entertainment and promenades in the past, the Place de la République used to host numerous dramatic and frightening pieces of theatre and so was nicknamed “boulevard  du crime”. That is only the 14th july 1889 that the place is renamed “place de la République” in honor of the statue built some years before. Symbol of the Liberty, the Equality and the Fraternity, the statue give to the place its civic character. The Place de la République is nowadays a central area at the intersection of multiples touristic districts!
